Ok, not REAL golf balls. Golf ball size scoops of ice cream. 2 golf balls is about 1/2 cup, the amount that you should be eating. (instead of 1/2 the container) Delicious ice cream is deceptively high in calories and fat.....you know, Ben & Jerry's, Breyers, Blue Bell, Baskin Robbins, to name a few. If you only ate 1/2 cup of Ben & Jerry's you would be getting around 300 calories and 18g of fat. Ouch. If you ate the whole container you would be getting upwards of 80 fat grams, which is a significant deposit to your 6 pack that you like to maintain and probably close to double your fat need for the day. Better choices would be sorbet, sherbets, or low fat versions.
Seriously, when you are looking for ways to cut calories that are no-brainers, this is one of them. Order kid sized ice cream portions when you are out. Discipline is the deal. Trust me, no one is concerned about what you look like by ordering a kiddie version. They will wish they were that clever and that committed to their diet. Dude, be a trend setter. Don't eat crap, and when you do, only eat a little. Everyone loves the smart guy. :)
