For you guys working out today, think about this.......if you hit the wall at any point in your workout, what did you eat yesterday? How well you ate, or didn't eat, has everything to do with hitting that wall. That morning run is fuelled by carbs eaten yesterday. The afternoon session needs lots of carbs from YESTERDAY. Protein shakes have a place and a purpose, but you have to be eating carbs for it all to work. BTW, too much protein can cause fat wt gain. :(
Be sure you know how much is right for you. If you don't know, get with Rudog and figure it out.
