This is Rudog analysis of the upcoming fights:
If Rampage is smart (and I think he is), then he learned his lesson from the last fight and has since focused on staying in shape and putting a diet in place that will go the distance. (although he never called Rudog.....there's still time.) He will be more than ready to prove to everyone that he is still a fighter that wants to be a fighter.
Machida's last fight was a solid beating, and I believe had more to do with his recent hand surgery than people have admitted. I think the hand will still be a factor, especially if he doesn't have a fight between now and then to truly test it.
Chael Sonnen is a great fighter. He is a great trash talker, and a skilled head game player. He is ready to fight, just like always. He does respect the great fighter that Silva is.
Anderson Silva is a great fighter. He is not as good a trash talker. He hasn't been TRULY challenged in a long time. I don't know if he feels that Sonnen is worthy of this fight. I think that's a weakness.
I pick Rampage over Machida and Sonnen over Silva. Guess we will wait and see.
